Living the Southwest Lifestyle Emissaries
I'm Matthew C. Cox, founder and author of Living the Southwest Lifestyle.
Living the Southwest Lifestyle is NOT a religion. It is, however, a belief system which operates on the concept that every action comes from a thought or belief.
My personal calling is to share the message of Living the Southwest Lifestyle with as many people as possible. Towards this end, I am looking for twenty-four Emissaries to join me in spreading the message.
Living the Southwest Lifestyle Emissaries are independent business people who, in exchange for their commitment to the message, receive increased abundance in the areas of finances and fulfillment.
A Living the Southwest Lifestyle Emissary answers a spiritual calling to share this message with others through facilitating events and developing a Living the Southwest Lifestyle Coaching Business.
The Emissary does the work of sharing the message while receiving support from Living the Southwest Lifestyle staff and resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
The primary qualification is that you have a Desire to be a Living the Southwest Lifestyle Emissary. If you feel an immediate “click” or resonance with the material, this may be a fit for you.
We suggest you use the following checklist to recognize and confirm your Desire:
- Gain understanding of the Living the Southwest Lifestyle material
- Determine you are congruent with the Living the Southwest Lifestyle belief system
- Commit to the Living the Southwest Lifestyle training program
- Complete to the Living the Southwest Lifestyle training program
- Host a live Living the Southwest Lifestyle Full Seminar with a minimum of twenty-five people in attendance.
ONGOING REQUIREMENTS
The requirements insure that our Emissaries are congruent with the Four Traits and Three Laws of Living the Southwest Lifestyle.
Living the Southwest Lifestyle Emissaries produce revenue that nets an average of one thousand dollars per month to Southwest Lifestyle. Emissaries have twelve months to produce twelve thousand dollars and maintain Emissary status for the following twelve months.
Additional requirements include participation in national and regional Living the Southwest Lifestyle events as requested. This includes serving as annual host or co-host for at least one Living the Southwest Lifestyle event.

WHY 24 EMISSARIES?
In 1984, I receive a vision of a family of fifty people in three generations teaching the world how to have and maintain Peace of Mind.
Initially, I interpret this as a biological family. Once I discover that we are all one, I realize we are all family. Sheri, our children and I may indeed build a family of fifty people in three generations. We have made significant progress towards that goal.
However, I don’t want to limit myself and the Living the Southwest Lifestyle message to our biological family. Therefore, we initiate the Living the Southwest Lifestyle Emissary program.
At first, I think twenty-five Emissaries. Then, I realize I am one of the twenty-five so the number is actually twenty-four.
That resonates with me because twenty-four is a significant number. Of course, there are twenty-four hours in each day.
In addition, many famed spiritual groups consist of a leader plus twelve supporters. James Twyman’s writings document the spiritual significance of this arrangement. For example, the Bible describes the twelve tribes of Israel along with Jesus and his twelve disciples. Mr. Twyman theorizes that this arrangement is no accident and provides reasonable support for his theories in his descriptions of the Emissary Wheel.
My observation is that each of the twelve supporters often has another person to mentor who, in turn, returns the favor by providing support.
In addition, as I prepare this webpage, I read an ancient passage about spiritual leaders with twenty-four supporters.
Of course, if there are fifty people total people, Sheri and I are the first two. That leaves forty-eight people to support us, which is twenty-four for each of us.
I love numbers so I could go on with other examples. I’ll spare you. I think I have provided enough information for you to understand why we use this number.
